Installations for light fuel oil in accordance with Technical Regulations for Combustible Liquids TRbF 231/1 and DIN 4755 Parts 1 and 2 can be designed using Wieland SANCO and Wieland WICU tubes. Tubes made from Cu-DHP in strength states R220 (soft) and R250 (half-hard) and the dimensions given in DVGW Working Documents GW 392 may be used. They can be connected using capillary soldered fittings as per DIN EN 1254 Part 1 or threaded clamping ring connectors, without requiring further evidence of suitability. Buried fuel oil lines are to be laid in a protective pipe. Soldered joints are permitted up to DN 25 and PN 10; the only soldering technique acceptable is brazing (brazing solders: AG104, AG106, CP105 and CP203). According to these regulations, threaded cutting rings are not permissible over DN 25.
