With suitable technical planning and execution, Wieland SANCO and WICU tubes with internal surface protection can also be used for rainwater utilisation systems (roof run-off water). We recommed to follow the subsequent installation hints.
The tubes are to be connected in accordance with the DVGW Working Document GW 2, January 1996 edition. Heat treatments at over 400°C (brazing, hot bending, soft annealing in order to form sockets and branch pipes) are not permissible up to and including 28 x 1.5 mm. The connections are to be soldered or pressed using press fittings. Rainwater utilisation systems may not be connected to drinking water installations and have to be be marked accordingly in order to provide improved differentiation.
